Step Seven: Claws. Next I began the claws. I selected Delta Dreamcoat Brown Iron Oxide as the basecoat for the claws, teeth, bones, and tentacle feelers.
Step Eight: Claw Highlight. I selected Delta Dreamcoat Dark Goldenrod as the first highlight color for every area covered in the Brown Iron Oxide. Typically I will apply the bone colors directly over a brown base, however, the MM Displacer Beast artwork shows a slight yellowish tinge to the claws and bony bits.
