Step Eleven: Brighter Highlight on the Nose. I selected Delta Dreamcoat Drizzle Gray for the next highlight texture for the nose. This step required a very steady hand with a #000 brush or alternately a #10/0 brush. I prefer using the #000 brush because it is easier to load an adequate amount of paint into. The #10/0 is so small that often times if the paint is not mixed perfectly it will dry between the seconds it takes to load the brush and to apply the paint. Remember to always leave a thin stripe of the underlying color. This technique becomes harder as the highlights become brighter.
Step Twelve: Brighter Highlights on the Feelers. I selected Delta Dreamcoat Luscious Lemon for the next highlight texture for the feelers. This is the brightest yellow I own. In many other circumstances I would select one or two more shades of color before finishing with the Luscious Lemon, however, the feelers are so tiny that it's almost impossible to leave a stripe of the underlying color if there I use more than two or three shades.
